AVA® Cosmetics Laboratory has launched a campaign promoting the cosmetics for face and body care which do not contain parabens, i.e. synthetic chemicals – PHB acid esters – used by the cosmetic industry as preservatives. With some fierce debates questioning or defending the safety of their use, one thing remains certain: parabens ARE by-products of the crud oil fraction, and can accumulate in tissues; consequently, it is advisable to provide skin – which is built of live tissues – with natural care.
